Raw Caramel Dip (4 Ingredients!)
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup Medjool dates, pitted, soaked*
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup water or almond milk
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract, optional
Instructions:
If using a compact or low-power blender, soak dates for 30 minutes. (*Also so date tip below.)
Add all ingredients to food processor or blender and blend on high speed. Scrape down the sides and continue to blend until smooth. Depending on your preference, you can adjust to add more water or milk.
Use to dip fruits, top smoothie bowls, smash a banana and top it with this and coconut flakes!
*To soak or not to soak?
If your dates are already pitted and not very fresh, you’ll want to soak them. Here’s how you can tell.
